Hi everyone and welcome to my blog/website! Below, my blog is organized by most recent work first, but if you click on the “Blog Categories” menu item, you’ll be able to navigate to the type of photography that most interests you: weddings, family, maternity, etc. In those categories, you will find more photos from weddings I have photographed or photoshoots I’ve done. And as always, I can send you full wedding galleries from my weddings so you can see a wedding shot beginning to end. Just shoot me an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org to see more samples!
Delaware Newborn Photographer | Baby James – Although this was a newborn shoot, this was one one of the cutest family sessions I’ve done in a while. Scroll down to see what big brother surprised us with and you will totally understand why Two-year-olds are one of the hardest ages to photograph because they are just not into it. They tend to do the opposite of what you want so I always try to make it a more lifestyle/candid shoot when they are in the picture. But, by some miracle, Big Brother Hank stepped up to the plate and put on quite a show with holding and kissing his brother so sweetly. Seriously heartwarming and I was jumping up and down inside since I knew I caught this tender moment, woo hoo!! Enjoy this session of this beautful family
Don’t get him angry! You won’t like him when he’s angry!
He’s was pretty excited about it too
Delaware Portrait Photographer | White Clay Creek Maternity Session – So, it’s been a minute since I’ve posted a maternity session, lol! I do a lot of them, but I am terrible at blogging and keeping up-to-date on posts. Every year it’s a goal of mine to keep up with marketing endeavors, but sure enough, life gets in the way, things get busy and I get super focused on deadlines and editing and it gets pushed to the wayside (sigh). But at the moment, things are calming down for a bit and I’m going to REALLY TRY to get this lil’ ol’ blog/website of mine current before the fall wedding season hits and my life gets chaotic again. To start off, I have a beautiful maternity session of an adorable lil’ momma and her love. I had so much fun with these two…..even throuh a spider biting me at the end of the session. That part wasn’t too fun, but I’d do it all over again for these two parents-to-beEnjoy!
ANNAPOLIS WEDDING | SONIA AND WILL – I honestly don’t know where to begin with this wedding post….. I could start with how the bride and I clicked from the get-go over e-mail and I knew before even speaking to her that she and this wedding was something special. Or I could start with how when I met this Californian couple at the groom’s family home in Annapolis where the wedding was to be held, I was speechless by how gorgeous and unique the property was and how instantly, I was flooded with tons of ideas for their big day. But I think I’ll start on the day of the wedding and how this teeny bride was beaming with excitement and squealed with delight as the days’ events unfolded ☺ Everything was thought out and so unique! From the chandelier in the tent shining brightly over their black and white striped runners that were adorned with fun and bright flowers to the cardboard cutouts of their two dogs who were unable to attend due to their busy social schedule ☺ I loved this wedding and I love this couple!! Aside from the fact that the groom and I went to the same college (Go Blue Hens!!!), these two are beautiful inside and out and were up for any crazy ideas I had for photos. Even though we were getting eaten alive by bugs during their sunset portraits, they made it look effortless and what I was capturing was true love between these two; so special and sweet! And then top the night off with some crazy shenanigans, and I was in photojournalism heaven!! Enjoy these photos and I guarantee you will catch yourself smiling because the theme of the day was fun and happiness!! Cheers Sonia and Will, you crazy unicorns!!
WYNDRIDGE FARM WEDDING | CORINNE AND ANDREW – After some touch and go weather during the week, Corinne and Andrew’s country nuptials had the most gorgeous sunshine and temperature of the season! Set at the beautiful Wyndrige Farm in Dallastown, PA, the ceremony site was overlooking rolling hills and countryside that was absolutely breathtaking! From the rustic farmhouse to the adorable little gardens, I knew this wedding was going to be something special ☺ The details of this wedding are worth noting as they are magazine worthy! It’s hard to choose my favorite as the paper rose table cards were adorable, but so was that super cool wire and jewel cake topper that adorned their initials. They had games set up in one of the lofts of the reception room and an elaborate photobooth set up in the other. And don’t get me started on the dessert table that had me drooling, haha!! Overall, this wedding magical and Corinne and Andrew are seriously the cutest!! That last photo with the sunset and bokeh is a great representation of their relationship– elegant, fun and full of love ☺ Enjoy!!
HAVRE DE GRACE WEDDING | JESS AND CARL – On April Fool’s Day, when everyone was playing pranks on each other, I got to photograph an awesome wedding in my current hometown of lil’ ‘ol Havre de Grace! I shoot so much in the Baltimore and Annapolis area that shooting relatively in my back yard is a huge treat ☺ And Jess and Carl, along with their friends and family, are adorable and super fun! Both the ceremony and reception took place at Vandiver Inn. After the 1st look, we headed down to the water and got some amazing shots of these two being in love and laughing A LOT, lol! To top it off, they put whoopee cushions under their guests chairs that “went off” as they sat down. Hysterical!!!! And something I had never seen before, they had a hand-written card for EACH of their guests. Talk about personalization and such a sweet gesture! This was a beautiful wedding of a beautiful couple that happened on a beautiful day ☺ Cheers!
